About

For 15 years I was very lucky to live on the South Coast of England between the beautiful coastline and the rolling South Downs, with my husband Adey and our 2 rescue cats Mr P and Sweet Pea (referred to as "The Catapultoes").  In April 2017 we upped sticks for a complete change of lifestyle and headed north to the island of Anglesey off the north coast of Wales.  A massive change in both lifestyle and environment but we felt the time was right to make the change.

Join us on our journey as we find our way to adapting to these new changes, getting to work on our property which is in need of some updating, learning how to become more frugal, trying to make a living and making the most of this beautiful part of the country we now find ourselves in.

I'll be kept pretty busy by the above and will constantly be juggling my time as I have lots of other interests including beachcoming, cycling, chicken keeping, growing my own fruit and veg, making jewellery, home-made beauty products and natural remedies, visiting Celtic places, hunting for treasures at vintage markets and car boot sales and photography.

I also like North Staffordshire oatcakes, cocktails, looking at the stars, home made muffins, Barcelona, chocolate, the seasons, natural fibres, dolphins, tea and cake, bead shops, brown sauce, crystals, cider and loads of other stuff.

I'm constantly looking for inspiration and am a glass half full kind of person and hopefully all of these things will be reflected in this blog.
